Rose was born and grew up in Invercargill, before attending Otago University where she graduated with a BA in Economics and Law.  Her professional career has seen her working in Dunedin and Invercargill law firms before joining Scholefield Law.

For the last few years Rose has enjoyed learning Te Reo Mᾱori.  In Rose's words, "Mᾱ te ngᾱkau aroha koe e ᾱrahi - let a loving heart guide your decisions. This is an important value for me. Treating others with respect as I would wish to be treated".

Outside work, Rose is one of our most active team members.  She spent her OE cycle touring through the UK, France, Italy and Greece and backpacking Turkey, Thailand and Malaysia. She and her sister teamed up and completed the coast to coast together back in 1990, placing 2nd.  More recently, when she's not in the office Rose enjoys running, cycling, both road and mountain bike, and open water swimming.
